Research

  • ​Clients receiving Cognitive Behavioural therapy with hypnosis were better off at the end of it than 75% of clients receiving the same therapy without hypnosis. (Kirsch et al. 1995)

  • Hypnosis reduces fear of public speaking (Schoenberger et al 1997)

  • Self-hypnosis reduces test anxiety (Stanton 1994)

  • 44% of patients using hypnosis had a reduction in pain as opposed to 13% using medication (Anderson et al 1975)

  • Hypnosis produced substantial reductions in average pain intensity (Jensen and Patterson, 2014)

  • Hypnotic suggestion equally effective in reducing both clinical and experimental pain. (Montgomery et al., 2002)

I use a blend of techniques, including Hypnosis, NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming) , Coaching and Mindfulness, to suit your individual needs, this targeted approach enables the therapy to be more effective and motivates change far quicker. This will improve your mental and physical health, giving you extra confidence to take control of your situation, have a stronger approach to life and enable you to achieve your goals. 

Bespoke recordings are provided to target your individual issue, this helps to reinforce the positive changes and ensures that treatment is continued between sessions providing a quicker solution.

Hypnotherapy Services may be covered by some Health Insurance Policies and Cash Plans, so it may be possible to claim the fees back. Some Private Health Cash Plan providers recognise CNHC registration for reimbursement.

 

Hypnotherapy is a client centred talking therapy that utilises the power of positive suggestion to bring about subconscious change to our thoughts, feelings and behaviours.  

When you are in a state of relaxation, the conscious mind becomes less active, this happens naturally when you are completely absorbed in a book or a movie. In this state, you are more able to turn your attention inward to find your own internal resources that can help you to make the changes you want, to overcome challenges, achieve goals and improve your well-being..

You are still aware of what you say and do during hypnosis and remain in complete control. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis, I merely help to guide you and provide positive suggestions for beneficial change.
